Democrat’s Day at the Rolla St. Patrick’s Day Parade!

About this event

Let’s come together and show our DEMOCRATIC presence at the 116th Best Ever Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Rolla!

The Democratic parade brigade is being organized thanks to the combined efforts of the LD143, Pro-Choice Mid-MO, Phelps, Texas, Maries, Laclede, Pulaski, Crawford, Greene, Webster and Dent County Committees and others. We’ll have several awesome candidates in attendance, too! Elad Gross for MO Attorney General will have his truck, Jen Tracy for MO HD 120 will have her vehicle, and there will be a general Democratic float, that we can all use for candidate and values signs! Also… Candidates December Harmon for US Senate, Randi McCallian for CD 08, Tara Anura from MO HD 122, Bernadette Holzer from MO HD 143, Jeanette Cass for CD 04, Denny Roth for CD 08 and more are attending to greet the folks, and collectively share our proud MO spirit!

Pro-Choice Mid-MO members are invited to carry their big purple banner and march with us.

There will be a youth group there, as well, from S&T, and reps from many Democratic Committees!

DECORATE THE FLOAT Float Decoration starts at 8 am.

RIDE OR WALK WITH US People riding the float or walking along need to be there at 10 am. Walkers will pass out Democrat and campaign literature, beads and candy. Maybe flags and pocket constitutions. Riders get to throw beads and candy to the crowd!

TAILGATE PARTY VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS After the parade, we will be attending the tailgate party for Elad Gross and the Democrat candidates!

The Upper Schuman Pavilion sits right next to the historic 1501 Frisco Locomotive and has a great view of Frisco Lake. Parking lot is accessed at the intersection of E. 16th & N. Walnut Streets. There are swing sets next to the pavilion and a playground is just down the hill.

If you are a candidate, and would like to join us, or have candidate signs, and would like to get them to us for the main float, we’d LOVE to have your shining presence there with us! If you are a volunteer, or an activist, a committee member, or simply someone who would like to come and hang out and meet your Democratic Candidates, and share that good BLUE fellowship with us. Please come along, too!

We had a terrific time at last year’s parade and our presence is growing! Let’s get out there and show our state that we are proud, here for them, and we are everywhere.
