ALL ABOUT...
Bernadette Holzer
Bernadette Holzer is campaigning for a seat in the Missouri State House, propelled by a dedication to represent families like hers, who have often been disregarded by the politicians in Jefferson City.
Bernadette serve as your advocate for:
- Enhancing access to affordable healthcare and safeguarding reproductive rights.
- Generating employment opportunities with fair wages, while advocating workers' rights and the strength of unions.
- Addressing environmental concerns and ensuring clean drinking water for both rural and urban areas across Missouri.
- Upholding and adequately financing our public education system to support the future of our communities.
We fought very, very hard for this.
For this, at least, we should be proud.
❤️❤️❤️

We’re just one week away from the election, and now is the time to make our voices heard. On November 2, we’re organizing our final flocking event to show strong support for our local candidates and Kamala Harris.
On that same day, there will be another group passing through with a Trump train, and while they may be loud, our presence will be even stronger. This is our chance to stand up, be visible, and let everyone know that we live here, too, and we’re fighting for our future. Gasconade County is not just red, and we need to make that abundantly clear.
We’re calling on people from all around, Owensville, Hermann, and beyond, to come out and stand with us. Whether you can give a few hours or just stop by to show your support, your presence matters. This election isn’t just about one vote; it’s about the future of our communities, our families, and the values we hold dear.
We’re up against a lot, misinformation, scare tactics, and efforts to divide, but together, we have the truth, the determination, and the power of unity on our side. We cannot sit by and hope for the best. We have to be the change, and that starts now. Let’s make this final push together and send a message: Gasconade County is here to stay, and we will not be silenced.
Check the flyer below for all the details. Let’s show them what a united community looks like. See you on November 2.

You are allowed to show support for a CANDIDATE 25 feet away from the front door of the polling location. You are NOT allowed to intimidate or harrass voters, particularly with MISINFORMATION. That's very much what this looks like, to me.
Courts have already RULED that this particular information is INNACCURATE, (hello?) and they are permitted to continue to spread it, anyway?
With all of these signs? Flyers? Canvassing? Rallys? Screaming at people? (Yes, I've had people scream at me, time and time again, for sharing factual information about this ammendment with our voters...)
Even at the polls??
Am I wrong, here?
This seems very wrong to me.
I think there needs to be a law against spreading this kind of bullshit around to our voters, and harassing them while attempting to use intimidation tactics to achieve their "goals."
What do you think??

“501(c)(3) organizations must avoid any issue advocacy that functions as political campaign intervention,” the IRS writes. For instance, if one candidate is running on a staunchly anti-abortion platform, telling parishioners to vote against abortion rights in an upcoming election involving that candidate could constitute prohibited political speech.

My beautiful aunt is Puerto Rican.
Seriously, fuck that guy.SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — A comic calling Puerto Rico garbage before a packed Donald Trump rally in New York was the latest humiliation for an island territory that has long suffered from mistreatment, residents said Monday in expressions of fury that could affect the presidential election.
Puerto Ricans cannot vote in presidential general elections despite being U.S. citizens, but they can exert a powerful influence with relatives on the mainland. Phones across the island of 3.2 million people were ringing minutes after the speaker derided the U.S. territory Sunday night, and they still buzzed Monday.
Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris is competing with Trump to win over Puerto Rican communities in Pennsylvania and other swing states. Shortly after stand-up comic Tony Hinchcliffe said that, “I don’t know if you guys know this, but there’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico,” Puerto Rican reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny announced he was backing Harris. --PBS, 10/28/2024 ... See MoreSee Less
